Growing fresh greens and herbs indoors grow light-Shenzhen Riyueguanghua

Bain identified an opportunity to provide local markets with locally-grown, nutrient-rich leafy greens, microgreens and herbs. A self-described geek when it comes to anything involving plants or hydroponics light, Bain ambitiously moved forward on his vision to bring sustainable agriculture to the local Saskatoon community.

After evaluating several lighting options, Bain settled on RYGH GreenPower LED grow light production modules, which proved to be the right investment:

• Low energy consumption and power draw
• Minimal radiative heat enabling better use of layered growing space
• A led grow light spectrum tailored to optimize growing conditions and produce a better end product

In addition, Paul Boers Ltd., the RYGH Horti Partner supporting the Ecobain project, worked with RYGH and SaskPower to define a rebate structure, which resulted in a rebate of more than $70,000 Canadian dollars.
